So my mother and I were in manhattan a few days ago and stopped in at a couple of my favourite stores. Orla Kiely had a wave of new fall arrivals and I bought so much! I just adored everything and I fully plan on hitting it again one last time before we fly home. We also hit Saint Laurent and Miu Miu as well as a few others. Below is a look at some of the things I bought for fall during this little outing. It's been quite a long while since I did a proper retail therapy session post here on the blog so... enjoy it!

Why: It's all about the cat print. It's just so fun and quirky but the shape of the dress and the colors give it a seriousness. I love a good contradiction.

Why: I love a good cropped trouser... almost as much as I like the word trouser. In my opinion you can never have too many good pairs of pants. I love the textured fabric on these, makes them unique.

Why: This skirt is perfect. I have always had a bit of a hard time with midi skirt, as they make me look even shorted than I already seem but this one hits just the right spot to look chic and not frumpy.

Why: A good pair of mary janes go very far indeed. I love the black buckle on the front, so retro. I got my eye on a pair of Saint Laurent's glitter mary janes too. Just give it time.
