Hi there,

Well it seems that the flu that was going around hasn't spared us afterall. I got home from work yesterday only to find Ben very sick. Feaver and throwing up. Terrible. To tell you the truth, I'm not really surprised. Ben's been on the go like crazy for the past month, I thought he was sick a few weeks ago but he wouldn't slow down and rest. I guess now he has no choice. I feel alright but then I hardly ever get sick, hopefully I continue to stay healthy, I hate being sick on Halloween. A few weeks ago, I went crazy with decorations at the Pottery Barn Kids halloween sale so I'll probably spend the weekend decorating the front of the house. This is the first year that we'll be getting trick or treaters, we used to live in an apartment building so we never got to hand out candy before. I've already got my costume figured out but I'm keeping it a surprise for now... what are you guys going as? Are any of you still young enough to trick or treat? Or is it a bowl of candy and a scary movie on the couch for you this year?

(Ps. Below you'll see that I've begun my exciting week of Halloween outfits. Today I was inspired by the amazing Kenzo eye jeans. I saw them on Win Butler from Arcade Fire when they performed on SNL and I said, I must have those for Halloween.)
