You Should Come Back Home, Back On Your Own Now...

Hi everyone!

That's right, I'm back home and I seem to have brought the sunshine with me. When I landed on Sunday and it was pouring I was like 'Of course!' but I woke up Monday morning with the sun shining so... you're welcome Vancouver.

I had such a great time on my vacation. It was absolutely perfect until Friday night when while watching a movie with the kids I had a bit of an accident. We were just watching peacefully when all of a sudden my niece's cat (who used to be called Ice Cream but is now named Elsa- they're obsessed with Frozen) freaked out and raced off the couch, scratching the hell out of my foot. Seriously, it would not stop bleeding, she got me right between my toes. I ended up having to get two stitches. I'm totally fine but it really hurt and it's been making shoes a little uncomfortable. Ben says that it looks like I was attacked by Wolverine because I have three very large scratches.

Other than that though, it was great. Today, I've been getting the apartment ready for Alex to come and stay... you know, cleaning up a bit and making sure that everything Maddie left behind (I swear she'd leave her head if it wasn't attached to her) is well hidden. I've also been organizing the kids' Easter gifts. Anywhoo... that's what's been up around here. I hope you guys are well and all.

If You Wear This Night You Can See Forever...

Hi all!

Sigh, okay so... I'm here in San Diego right now visiting my family for spring break. I meant to post this right away but I've just been far too busy having a good time to bother. I'm here now though and I have a major outfit post. I like these spring break trips because they give me a chance to figure out how I wanna dress for spring and summer before they actually start. Apparently cardigan sets are the thing for me this spring... keep it posted for examples.
The last few days have been lovely, the sun is shining... well at least more than it is back home, the kids are excited and everything is all rainbows. I've spent my days lounging around, going out for dinner with my bro, and having a very much needed spa day with mom. Coming up we'll hitting the California attractions with my little sister, niece and nephew, First up, Sea World and then if the weather holds up this weekend, we'll do the zoo. I may have done a little shopping today as well...*shrugs* what? Hope you're spring break is as awesome as mine!

How's your weekend? Yesterday, I was quite sick so I took it pretty easy but I shopped for spoils for tonight, I'm having friends over to watch the Golden Globes. I'm pulling for 'Her' to take home something, I really enjoyed that movie.
