Okay so...

I honestly never have trouble shopping for my sisters. Willa and Ruby always look good in everything so when I'm out shopping for them I'm always like 'Ohh this is nice' and 'Oh my God this is amazing' and before I know it, I have enough to give them for the next three Christmases. The Joy Of Gift Giving: Birthdays 2014 - Willa...

As promised...

My darling little sister Willa celebrated her 20th birthday on Monday! I can't believe how time flies. Anyway, my genius sister flew in from Cambridge on the 8th and brought a handsome young man with her. Daniel is a very sweet, quiet young dude who seems quite smitten. It's rather cute. To celebrate Willa's birthday, my brother and I, and our significant others took Willa and Daniel out for dinner before coming back to the house and hanging out with a couple drinks (shh...). This post is mostly to brag about how awesome Willa is but it's also so that you can see what I got her for her birthday... well technically it's from me and Kae because he never knows what to get her so I usually buy the stuff, he gives me half the money and we call it even. Willa recently watched 'Stoker' starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode and Nicole Kidman. It's kinda a vampire movie without vampires... that's the best way I can think to describe it. It was a really good movie, I totally recommend it and Willa went absolutely bonkers for the style, so when buying her gifts I tried to keep that movie in mind. Anyway... here's Willa's loot.

Hi everyone!

Okay so I've been bad... I know it... Blame Willa, whom has had me watching 'Lost' every night since we got here. I'm terrible with TV shows. Once I start watching, just one episode, I absolutely have to know what happens. It's a terrible sickness that had me watching 'True Blood' for four bloody seasons before I finally put that stick down. Anyway, I've been doing that in the evenings and hanging with my amazing family in the daytime. And speaking of Willa, it was her birthday on Monday... I'll be following this post here with a look at what I got her for her birthday. Hi all!

Sigh, okay so... I'm here in San Diego right now visiting my family for spring break. I meant to post this right away but I've just been far too busy having a good time to bother. I'm here now though and I have a major outfit post. I like these spring break trips because they give me a chance to figure out how I wanna dress for spring and summer before they actually start. Apparently cardigan sets are the thing for me this spring... keep it posted for examples.
The last few days have been lovely, the sun is shining... well at least more than it is back home, the kids are excited and everything is all rainbows. I've spent my days lounging around, going out for dinner with my bro, and having a very much needed spa day with mom. Coming up we'll hitting the California attractions with my little sister, niece and nephew, First up, Sea World and then if the weather holds up this weekend, we'll do the zoo. I may have done a little shopping today as well...*shrugs* what? Hope you're spring break is as awesome as mine!

Traveling Lady, Stay Awhile Until The Night Is Over...

Hi everyone!

First post of 2014. Sorry about my long post Christmas break. Everything has just been so crazy. I flew back from New York on the second and was pretty much right back to work. Plus, we had a little plumbing problem in our kitchen, which we're currently having re-done again so it's been chaos. On my way home from work today, I stopped at the drugstore to pick up medicine for the cold that Ben and I are currently nursing and while I was there I noticed that they had all their Valentine's day candy out, I picked up some of those strawberry marshmallow candies (which should come with a warning because they are addictive) which I then proceeded to eat half the bag of so now on top of being drowsy and having a sore throat, I am also nauseous and have pink teeth... talk me out of these things in the future guys!
Anyway, I'm updating with what I wore yesterday as well as today. I swear that I'll give a more in depth account of my Christmas break in my next post but for now I must lay down. Hope you're all well.
