Time for part two of my massive outfit post. Sorry, I had to wait until after work to post it as lunch came and went quicker than expected.
By the way, was anyone else pissed that there was no 'Game Of Thrones' last night. I was like legitimately mad, until I saw that they were showing 'The Normal Heart' in it's place and I was like 'okaaay...' because in my opinion Jonathan Groff is the sexiest gay man ever. And before you even ask, yes, I did cry like a little girl. I'm also watching a new show called 'Penny Dreadful' which is basically a less PG version of 'The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen'. I have to admit that I'm actually loving it... even if I spend half the show hiding under the blankets... I'm a chicken, I admit it. It was even worse because Ben is away so it's just me in this scary house... with the scary TV show.

I Wish It Were Not True But That's The Way It Is...

Hi all!

So sorry. I have just started my grade 11 and 12 students' respective units on Shakespeare... all I can say is, if you've spent the past week listening to a bunch of little punks bastardize Shakespearean language, you wouldn't feel much like blogging either. It's all good though, I only have three more weeks to suffer through... ugh. Ben and I went for a bike ride/dinner picnic last night at a park near by us and it was completely lovely. I seriously, cannot wait until school is over. I have promised myself a lovely stay at my favourite Vancouver hotel and a trip top their amazing spa as soon as it's over. *sigh*
I hope you are all well and haven't been too cross with me for being absent. I honestly haven't had the energy to do anything after work but curl up with 'The White Princess' by Phillipa Gregory, something that doesn't require much thought at all. Hope your week was better than mine.

You Should Come Back Home, Back On Your Own Now...

Hi everyone!

That's right, I'm back home and I seem to have brought the sunshine with me. When I landed on Sunday and it was pouring I was like 'Of course!' but I woke up Monday morning with the sun shining so... you're welcome Vancouver.

I had such a great time on my vacation. It was absolutely perfect until Friday night when while watching a movie with the kids I had a bit of an accident. We were just watching peacefully when all of a sudden my niece's cat (who used to be called Ice Cream but is now named Elsa- they're obsessed with Frozen) freaked out and raced off the couch, scratching the hell out of my foot. Seriously, it would not stop bleeding, she got me right between my toes. I ended up having to get two stitches. I'm totally fine but it really hurt and it's been making shoes a little uncomfortable. Ben says that it looks like I was attacked by Wolverine because I have three very large scratches.

Other than that though, it was great. Today, I've been getting the apartment ready for Alex to come and stay... you know, cleaning up a bit and making sure that everything Maddie left behind (I swear she'd leave her head if it wasn't attached to her) is well hidden. I've also been organizing the kids' Easter gifts. Anywhoo... that's what's been up around here. I hope you guys are well and all.

I've Been Looking For The King Of Diamonds, But I Guess The Queen Will Do...

Hi!

I'm so sorry that I've been MIA but I've just been having such a good, relaxing time down here with my family that I haven't had the time to blog. However, mom has taken the kids shopping and I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to let you know what's been going on. It's been slightly drizzly lately but that hasn't stopped us for having a good time. We took the kids to Sea World the other day and the Zoo on the weekend. Both were very fun... I mean, they were fun because the kids had so much fun and that always makes me happy. Like I said in my last post, I've just been relaxing and hanging out... not much to report. I do however have a big outfit post for you... like eight days worth... oops! I'm a little sad that spring break is coming to an end but I'm not too sad because when I get home, I have my oldest friend Alex coming for a visit. I'm hoping I can help cheer him up a little (see this post). Anyway, hope you're having a good break.

Dream Up, Dream Up, Let Me Fill Your Cup With The Promise Of A Man...

Hi everyone!

I'm back and guess what I have for you... a playlist... finally!
It's been so long since I've posted a playlist that I almost forgot how to do it... but then I remembered.
Yesterday I had some friends over since Ben is away this week. We had a very, very yummy dinner and watched a movie. We watched the new Neil Jordan vampire movie, 'Byzantium'. It was very, very good. I always enjoy a movie that Johnny-Lee Miller is in, even if it's just a small role. I certainly recommend watching it though, it's was romantic but not sucky and very of it's genre but not stupid. The younger boy in it was cute too in that very unusual way that I tend to be attracted to.
